It’s a Marvelous Monday at Nana’s Place. African Americans tend to get upset that few people want to talk about slavery stating they give more attention to the Holocaust victims… Please recognize America was considered the hero in that story. In the Slavery story, America is the villain. America also had concentration camps that we don’t hear about. NO one wants to talk about the dirt in their backyard but is quick to tell you about someone else’s dirt. It’s easier to talk about what they did as opposed to what “WE” did. Unfortunately it’s the way of life… WE NEED TO UNLEARN THIS BEHAVIOR AND BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR OUR ACTIONS.
